Day 1 :

Day 1: Los Angeles to Santa Margarita – Exploring Santa Monica and Journeying to San Luis Obispo

Start your adventure in Los Angeles by heading out in the morning towards the beautiful city of Santa Monica. Spend your morning strolling along the famous Santa Monica Pier or enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the beach. If the beach isn't your scene, perhaps visit the vibrant Santa Monica Farmers Market to pick up fresh, local treats. After a casual lunch in Santa Monica, we'll drive northwest to San Luis Obispo. Here, we'll make a fun stop at the unique Chewing Gum Alley and pick up any essentials before settling in at our campsite in Santa Margarita for the night.

Day 2 :

Day 2: Santa Margarita to Santa Cruz – Coastal Wonders along Highway

Embrace the allure of the Pacific Coast Highway today. We dedicate the day to the marvels along this iconic highway. Enjoy watching the elephant seals, wander through the captivating Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, and visit the charming towns of Carmel and Monterey. As the day winds down, we set up our next camp in Santa Cruz.

Day 3 :

Day 3: Santa Cruz to San Francisco – Discovering Half Moon Bay and San Francisco Highlights

Leaving our camp, we continue our scenic drive along Highway 1 towards Half Moon Bay. Your guide will introduce you to the wonders of San Francisco with a short city orientation. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore. Consider joining a sunset sailing adventure under the Golden Gate Bridge or exploring the city's vibrant streets on your own.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
As of October 1, 2021 G Adventures' Vaccinated Tours Policy applies:
All travelers must meet the G Adventures requirements for joining their tours.
The majority of tours require travelers to be fully vaccinated and the full/final COVID-19 vaccination must be at least 14 days before the first day of the tour.
There are some tours and departures that are only ‘Travel-Ready’ which means all travelers must be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 96 hours before the first day of the tour.
Please, double check with the G Adventures Support Team about the requirements of your tour and departure date.

Travel with Confidence & Vaccinated Tours
As we continue to see vaccine mandates shifting and countries evolving COVID-19 policies, we have continued to monitor and adjust our policies in line. Based on this, we will be making some adjustments to our Vaccinated Tours and Travel with Confidence policy in 2023. Tours departing on or after March 31, 2023 we will no longer be requiring all travellers to be vaccinated to travel with G Adventures. However, we still strongly recommend that all travellers are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to travelling.
As per our existing policy, it is the travellers responsibility to ensure they are aware of and adhere to the regulations of the country they are visiting. Please remember to ensure that your travellers have adequate travel insurance to protect them should their travel plans change, this should include trip disruption and COVID-19 coverage.

Leading up to March 31, 2023 our tours will continue to be Vaccinated Tours and you can look for the Vaccinated Tours icon to indicate which departures are vaccinated and which will not require a vaccination as we move forward with this change. Payment Information

For any tour departing before February 13th, 2024 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 13th, 2024, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.

Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
